Jenny Rae (@jenraeart) is my pick for today’s talent!
If you don’t know what A Year on Talents is here you can find the description of the project: A Year on Talents Project

Jenny is a self taught artist artist based in UK. Her profile is definitely one of the most heart warming I’ve ever come across because it’s filled with lovely puppies of all species. I’m in love with all the animals in general and if I keep scrolling through the images there’s no stopping me, I’m going like “oh my god look at this one!” over and over again.

Sometimes the pictures are not finished paintings, they’re studies and sketches which honestly I’ve even been appreciating maybe even more! I mean ok the complete piece is always fascinating, especially when the animal sports big eyes asking for love, but getting to see construction lines is so cool.

The first image is a super cute lady and there’s just nothing to do but watch in her eyes and see the soul that’s in there. It’s not easy to capture and represent such strong feelings in a piece of paper and I think Jenny is very very good at doing so. Lovely subject, lovely drawing!

The fox is beautiful and while I could repeat myself once again this time I would love you to take a look at the fur which I think really seems soft and fluffy. The “socks” in the end are such a nice detail and really change the way you see the whole picture, they also serve the purpose of balancing the colors and the composition. Awesome.

What do you think about Jenny? Do you also love what’s going on here?
I’d like to discuss today’s talent with you in the comments below!
