Liya (@mochipanko) is my pick for today’s talent!
If you don’t know what A Year on Talents is here you can find the description of the project: A Year on Talents Project

Liya is a freelance illustrator based in Hambrug, Germany. Her style is spectacular both in the way she colors pieces and in the way she draws them. If you’re scrolling through her IG profile I hope you’ll get across one of the illustrations that are part of a collection, I don’t really konw why but the mini series just look the absolute best.

To explain to you how I live her art and hopefully make her feel good I’m going to steal a sentence from her own bio in the website (link below). When people tell me they feel comfortable and cozy looking at my art, I´m happy!. Comfortable is probably the single best word to describe what her illustrations provoke in me. A sense of being calm, well rested, happy and in a good mood.

The first image is soooo warm and if it’s possible it’s even more cute. The lady looks in paradise and the way Liya included some color in this pic using the flowers so spectacularly is stunning to me. If you’re an animal lover you know this one would be the perfect postcard to send your friends from a place in the mountains you went in vacation to.

The second image is really showing the life I’d love to have when I’m older. A beautiful house, a lot of plants, flowers and vegetation and I’m sure I’ll bring Lapis (the cat) and many more new furry friends to have fun and keep me occupied. She drew a dream. Would you also love a place like this?

What do you think about Liya? Do you also love what’s going on here?
I’d like to discuss today’s talent with you in the comments below!
