Macarena Chomik (@mletteringlover) is my pick for today’s talent!

Macarena is an hand lettering artist, graphic designer and illustrator from Argentina. On her IG you’ll find tons of letterings of all sorts and different kinds, I like them a lot, especially when she manages to make them into stickers (more on this in a second) cause they look sooo cute!

Another super interesting thing I see her doing often is using the art as a wallpaper for her phone (or the tablet, but that’s more of a “show the image fullscreen” kinda thing). It might seem obvious or easy to do but to actually see it pictured in the image gives you that precise idea of how well the letterings fit as a screen background, even better when the artwork is full of bright and happy colors and little illustrations like she uses to do.

As I said here we are with a bunch of beautiful stickers on the first image (if you like ’em the link is down below), I love the tones she used to create them they’re really sweet. Art you spent hours on becoming a real thing in the world other people can enjoy too is great, and stickers are such an easy and cute way of bringing a piece with you if you think about it, or even a nice present for a friend if you will.

The second image is a true show, I love the message in it spreading a positive way of living life and that’s only one aspect. I actually think the letters themselves are crazy wonderful and the miriad of illustrations in the background bring me straight into autumn mood. They also have that “magical” feeling because the style makes me think they came out of a fairy tale.
