Alex (@snguine) is my pick for today’s talent!
If you don’t know what A Year on Talents is here you can find the description of the project: A Year on Talents Project

Alex is an illustrator from Boston, United states. He draws a lot of characters and has a very clean toonish/comic style that I appreciate a lot. I included the link below to a second profile of his, it’s the web comic he’s making and that page deserves a look let me tell you. I absolutely love the atmosphere there and all the illustrations look soooo good, the coloring is awesome and the almost human but not quite like characters close the deal giving the perfect fantasy vibes. Don’t forget to take a peek, you won’t regret it!

The first piece has very nice and instructive note in the caption, Alex said he had fun, but also said drawing multiple characters in a single scene is tough and takes some time. When you see wonderful pieces like this one and everything seems perfect, you know the artist is capable of such things and won’t miss a step.. you also got to remember it’s never going to be easy, it might look like “a simple post” on insta but there’s some sweat behind it! So I’ll just enjoy the view and say awesome scene, congrats for making it look so good.

The second piece is one of those posts that requires a little trip to IG to fully appreciate it, if you swipe you can find the lineart (so cool!) and a few other versions messing with the colors. I especially liked the luminous light green one, which one do you prefer?

What do you think about Alex? Do you also love what’s going on here?
I’d like to discuss today’s talent with you in the comments below!
