Barbara Rosiak (@ravietta) is my pick for today’s talent!
If you don’t know what A Year on Talents is here you can find the description of the project: A Year on Talents Project

Barbara is a self taught 2D animator from Poland. She also draws, illustrates, paints and sometimes does pixel art. Many of her pieces do give me those RPG vibes, the characters are looking like the protagonist of a fantasy book and if not then there’s a good chance the atmosphere brings me straight into a fairy tale. Occasionally the artwork feels none of the above, but that only proves she has a wide horizon in front of her when it comes to deciding what to do next. Variety and beautiful results make it for a wonderful profile to enjoy. When she engages onto a series of paintings (like the chocolate frog cards for example) she really leaves me with the wish there was one more everytime, I just don’t want them to be over!

The first image is an illustration she purposely posted un-colored to use it as the base for her own “color this in your style” challenge. The idea is really cool and the drawing itself is amazing so I’m really tempted to give it a try! I love the wings and the falling feathers so much, they’re the perfect deviation from the standard character.

The second pic shows you Farris, which is Barbara’s “go-to character for RPG stuff”. A wonderful card she made (there are 2 more) inspired by the Dragon Age: Inquisition game cards. This tarot lady has a magnetic pair of eyes and all the details in the back are so nice. Lovely illustration.

What do you think about Barbara? Do you also love what’s going on here?
