Anna Bucciarelli (@anna.m.bucciarelli) is my pick for today’s talent!
If you don’t know what A Year on Talents is here you can find the description of the project: A Year on Talents Project

Anna is an illustrator from Canada and her works are influenced by Ukranian “Petrykivka” painting style (an interesting folk art Wikipedia describes with: “flower patterns, distinctive brush techniques, and its traditionally white background”).

On her profile you’ll discover lots of intricate floral and plant motifs sometimes painted together with animals, perfectly joining the composition with shape and color.

The coin you see is just one piece of many Anna designed for the Royal Canadian Mint. The work is stunning, the bright colors on the silver surface where chosen because they each represent a sentiment: Friendship, Romance and Affection. Beautiful.

The fish pairs with the flowers so well, it looks alive, like if it was gracefully swimming around them. Take a look at the scales, I just love the deepest of details like these ones. Their iridescence is so natural!

What do you think about Anna? Do you also love what’s going on here?
