Ashline is a freelance illsutrator based in France. She does some pretty gorgeous artworks working in digital (and sometimes with traditional mediums too! It’s not so rare to catch a pencil sketch in her feed).
Her portraits feel exceptional I don’t even know what the secret is – I’d love to! – but there is something that clearly brings her works to another level. They are just wonderful you’ll see it in a second. She recently gave life to her YouTube channel (the link is below) and the content looks very promising already, I think you might like to take a peek and help her grow there, she deserves it and I’m sure you will enjoy the videos.
“Leaves”, the first pic, a stunning illustration that hit me from various angles. The lights and the shadows are fantastic, the girl herself is very graceful and delicate, I like the flowing hair and the blur effect that’s affecting them and the clothing on the sides.. And then the palette is surely on point, all the dark shades she used match perfectly with the golden light spots and there is the right contrast between the cold colors of the outside and the warm tones of the lady.
“Le trio hivernal” is the second image, and it’s soooo cute! Beautiful textures (you want to zoom in and take a closer look) that really remind me of winter and once again the hair of all the ladies are just amazing. On top of that there’s this dark blue starred background and .. oh my words .. look at the squirrel! I want this to be the poster for the next big animation movie, please!
