Belinda Kou (@belindaskou) is my pick for today’s talent!
If you don’t know what A Year on Talents is here you can find the description of the project: A Year on Talents Project

Belinda is a hand lettering artist and illustrator from Chicago. Let me tell you she’s a queen when it comes to combining her two passions, every time you see a piece of hers you get surprised at how well she was able to illustrate what she writes and write what she draws.

The colorful style she uses alongside everyday elements (ranging from objects to food and beverages) creates an awesome combination that’s able to speak for a message via words, colors and shapes together in a dynamic composition.

The foggy glasses piece is so nice! I can relate to it 100% being a person with absolute need for glasses. I’ve had my mask “cover” the lenses with fog multiple times and even if the fact is annoying I totally understand and support the message, the mask is mandatory.

The second image represents a page of typism book 6 together with Belinda, the author of the right side “N” you see, showing how much she likes noodles and how good her piece was. This Noodly N is quite funny and super detailed, on her feed you’ll also find a post about it with a cool process video attached!
