Brooke Glaser (@paperplaygrounds) is my pick for today’s talent!
If you don’t know what A Year on Talents is here you can find the description of the project: A Year on Talents Project

Brooke is an illustrator currently based in Portland. She takes complex worlds, makes them easy, turns all of their parts into the cutest possible version, mixes them together and somehow you’re now looking at a wonderful piece of art.

She also teaches all of that! Her goal is to take you through the process and make it easy for you, so that you can be able to create a lovely blue T-Rex that kids will adore just like she does. If you think you wanna give it a try there’s a bunch of videos on her YouTube channel (link below) that you might want to check out.

I extremely love how she designs her patterns and that’s why I’ve included a couple of them here. “Pet dinos” and “space cool things” (I admit it, I just made up the titles) are both really super funny, look at the astro-cat floating around!

“Stay Weird”, the last image, also sends me a message on top of being a cute animal (as always, with her). If you enjoy this series of posts you probably like to get inspired, like me, by watching at what people can do with their imagination. Not to copy, but to look at the world from another perspective. I’d say the flamingo she drew is definitely the right choice, quirky enough and looking from another angle!

What do you think about Brooke? Do you also love what’s going on here?
I’d like to discuss today’s talent with you in the comments below!
