Rita Sabler (@ritasabler) is my pick for today’s talent!
If you don’t know what A Year on Talents is here you can find the description of the project: A Year on Talents Project

Rita works in Portland as an illustrator and graphic designer, but also likes to travel the world with her sketchbook. She uses art to view, live and communicate the world and let me tell you her paintings are really precise, delicate and sometimes even touching.

I like to watch at some wild landscapes of her and imagine how the place could be if I could feel the weather, listen to nature and smell the air. Or some other times look at a crowded city and visualize the people, the streets. Her art is easily moving me into this kind of thinkings and I like it a lot!

On the first image you get to see an awesome landscape, I super love how she made the snowy tips on the mountains leaving white areas. Fun fact: on her IG post you can swipe right to see a cute bear cub she met on the way there!

On the second image there’s a cool setup ready to be recorded for a workshop on how to draw streets. It’s nice to see how she made two different versions of the same place, can you spot all the changes she made between them (other than the obvious people walking in the foreground)?

What do you think about Rita? Do you also love what’s going on here?
I’d like to discuss today’s talent with you in the comments below!
