Cristina Cerulli (@cristinacerulli.studio) is my pick for today’s talent!
If you don’t know what A Year on Talents is here you can find the description of the project: A Year on Talents Project

Cristina is an illustrator and visual artist from Genova, Italy. She works with traditional mediums such as watercolors, gouache, colored pencils, ink and more. On her feed you will also occasionally find an illustration or two made in the digital world.

She gets inspired by nature counting colors, shapes, light and everything that comes along with it. This perk is probably one of the reasons why Cristina likes to experiment with new palettes very often and uses the opportunity to create vibrant and creative pieces. If you’re looking for a curated feed with compositions that surely took her some time and many tries to be set up and shot so nicely (speaking from personal experience here) you’re lucky cause you’ll find exactly that! I can recognize a wonderful pic when I see one, and I’ve seen many on her profile.

The first image shows a wonderful drawing she is rightfully proud of in which she was able to capture the lessons she learnt through various exercises completed some time before. As an artist it’s always a pleasure when you can see the improvement with your own eyes after some hard work. I’m very happy Cristina reconized the practice on compositions and colors she had done is showing up big time here. Super nice illustration!

The second pic is something I appreciate a lot both cause it looks amazing and cause the choice of style and colors she made for the mountains back there is superb. It’s like looking at a patchwork, you know, the totality of the figure is stunning. A warm landscape that immediately catches my eyes, I think it’s awesome.
