Gia Graham (@iamgiagraham) is my pick for today’s talent!
If you don’t know what A Year on Talents is here you can find the description of the project: A Year on Talents Project

Gia is a designer, hand lettering artist and illustrator from the Barbados, her style often combines visuals, words and florals to create wonderful pieces that I always imagine printed on an everyday life stationery (and it’s not only me, it happens for real!).

She likes to play with color palettes, she even launched “palette play” on IG some time ago, the project is still running and you can find it in her posts/stories.

Look at the lush florals surrounding the lettering or standing behind it, they really make the words pop up and empower the message itself with their shapes. I mean in “self care” the foliage is caressing the lettering being delicate and curvy while in “pride” she made the flowers bigger and strong.

I really adore the dragonfly and the fact that she broke the symmetry down there with a different blooming on the flowers. Super nice!

What do you think about Gia? Do you also love what’s going on here?
I’d like to discuss today’s talent with you in the comments below!
