Logan is a vis dev and character design artist based in the United States, she is really good at using colors, light and crazy good drawings mixing them all up with various techniques depending on the results she wants to obtain. She has expeirence creating artworks for web and tv series as well as illustrations for children’s books.
I really like the IG profile cause it’s diverse, you might look at a sketch right next to her last masterpiece and if you scroll a bit more there’s a study or an exercise all of which are probably featuring very different styles and color palettes. If you like surprises she’s your artist, you’ll never know what’s coming up next, but you know it’s going to be damn good.
The first image is soooo nice, click it and look at the full version cause the external halo of darkness in contrast with representing the closest leaves to your point of view is spectacular. The observer is almost spying on them. I think the magical mood of this place comes out really really well in the illustration, and I’m curious to know what the story is, which special power this glade holds!
The second pic is a great study and I know what I’m going to say will come out a bit trivial, but I just can’t help myself not thinking about that cat. It’s so realistic I wanna hold it, mine does exactly like that he lets the human do with a clueless dumby face. The light here is tremendous by the way, it’s not easy to put so much of it in the center of the canvas while keeping it pleasing to the eyes. Amazing stuff!
