Zara is an illustrator, character designer and book cover artist based in the US. Her style is very expressive, she uses strong colors and powerful subjects to raise the attention levels. Many of the characters have strange/dark traits looking like vampires, witches and all those kinda things. This together with the coloring style and the tones themselves often creates a very good environment, and certainly an intriguing painting.
If you’re looking for a charming character her IG feed is the place to go to, I’m 100% confident you’ll find more than one that fits perfectly with your ideas.
The Vampire Queen is the first painting, I like it a lot cause it’s dark yet balanced, the magical crown looks fantastic and I think all these black and shady areas are very hard to make if you actually want them to look this good. Like the collar for example, which is giving depth to the artwork with a very limited resource such as the color black and the light hitting it, that’s it!
I’m sure the second painting will immediately click with some of you, I’m not an among us player myself, but I heard about the game cause the boom was very big so I’m sure this impostor fanart will be recognized very quickly by many. Once again the palette is super limited yet the effect is spectacular! Very cool illustration.
