Aya (@arupugrin) is my pick for today’s talent!
If you don’t know what A Year on Talents is here you can find the description of the project: A Year on Talents Project

Aya is an artist who loves to draw and illustrate in her own comic/manga style and she’s very good both with the drawings and with the coloring. In her profile you will find character designs, portraits, gestures and even full stories.

I feel like the illustrations are always touching, she masters the expressions making it so that it’s very easy and immediate to relate with the image and sort of get in the same page with it. Sometimes the coloring is stunning and that helps a lot, but I found this quality in most of the pieces, even the black and white ones, suggesting it’s a trait of her lines overall. Bonus points for drawing cats every now and then, it’s hands down the easiest wat to make my life better!

The first image is an amazing fanart, Johan from Monster! I like the manga a loooot and I didn’t finish to read it all yet so please no spoilers! I was super excited to see this piece when it first came out and I still think I am, the first part was due to me knowing the reference and liking it so much, but the feeling kept staying with me.. It’s the sign I love the art even more than I love the subject.

The second drawing is one of a pair of suuuuuper cute little cats, I hope you’ll take the time to go check out the other one (It’s all white!) cause I wasn’t able to decide on which one I wanted to show here, but in the end I had to pick one so I went with this. Still not sure, if this one is fantastic the other one is at least as much! Very beautiful illustrations.
