Ayan Nag (@artofayan) is my pick for today’s talent!
If you don’t know what A Year on Talents is here you can find the description of the project: A Year on Talents Project

Ayan is an illustrator based in Bangalore, India. He masters the digital world with ease after years in the field, his pieces are truly amazing and if you’re into tech, card games, tabletop, videogames, fantasy games and such you’ll find out pretty much everything he posts could very well be the art on any product coming from the “worlds” I listed and you like the most.

I personally adore all the locations he makes because I like to play board games, and I like it especially when they’re beautiful to watch (I mean.. literally if the pieces in the game have good art there’s a decent chance I already like it before I understand the rules) and everything I see here is exactly the kind of art I’d look for in my ideal game. His artoworks make me dream!

The first piece is wondreful, the aurora touching into this dark forest / swamp and reflecting in the waters is amazing. On IG you’ll find a color variation (pink light) and some close ups you really don’t want to miss. You wouldn’t believe how many details are hidden in the barrack suspended on the big tree branch. This place sets a decise mood, I like how strong this artwork is!

The second picture of the valley is stunning, it looks like a cold and wild place that the heroes of the story have to get through to reach the end of their adventure. Some sort of “Lord of the Rings” place with threats all over. But you see the light over there, there’s hope! The rocks / grass mixture in the foreground is fenomenal, and he thought of adding a couple guys flying down the hill which is actually really cool (but scary!)

What do you think about Ayan? Do you also love what’s going on here?
