Sarah Simon (@themintgardener) is my pick for today’s talent!
If you don’t know what A Year on Talents is here you can find the description of the project: A Year on Talents Project

Sarah is an artist, author and teacher but she is also the woman behind The Mint Gardener. She mostly paints flowers, plants, herbs, trees and whatever else is passing by her garden, or finds inspiration in it.

On her IG you’ll find plenty of videos, she posts a lot (have you seen the new Reels feature? I’d say she’s putting it to good use!). If you like her style take a look at the website tho, there are just about a million useful resources, quick links and interesting things.

In the first image you’ll see a painting that I absolutely love for the color choices: this cold Sea Holly composition sports amazing gradients and ramifications. The whole image is then perfectly paired with a blue-ish handle of the brush and a marble background, matching the Payne’s Grey she used. Super good at taking pictures too!

The second collection of mini subjects is so cute, I can’t stop looking for details. The moths are so simple yet surprisingly cool, at first glance the big shell takes all the attention but I liked all the other components as soon as I switched my focus to them. Superb color mixes here once again.

What do you think about Sarah? Do you also love what’s going on here?
I’d like to discuss today’s talent with you in the comments below!
